Lock plate marked "US/ SPRINGFIELD" and "US/MODEL/1884." Mismatched high arch breech block marked "MODEL/1973/Eagle proof over crossed arrows/ US." Full length walnut stock with partially obscured cartouche and on underside behind trigger guard "H H" and "R" in circle. Serial number 318132. 52 1/2" overall. Model 1873 bayonet with metal scabbard with leather scabbard hanger. Model 1887 leather rifle sling. Condition: Fine condition. 50% of original finish. Mottled bluing or loss from handling retained on barrel. Moderate wear on stock. Abrasions on barrel near muzzle. Dirty bore with pitting. Wear on butt plate. - Lot 10

Marked with serial number, "E 308**" on heel of grip, Marked, "BEST AMERICAN CATRIDGES ARE THOSE THAT FIT BEST THE / C H REVOLVER PAT.4.MAY.1881.12.APRIL.1898 / 27 MAY 1890. 11 JUNE 1900. 26 JULY 1900.23 MAY 1901." along the top of the barrel. 5 inch barrel. Includes double Mexican loop style leather holster. Curio and Relic FFL eligible. Fair condition. Has been refinished with nickel finish. Nickel finish is flaking and worn in areas. Bore pitted.
