Some highlights of the antique and modern firearms included in the auction are a Mauser C78 “Zig Zag” revolver, two S&W Registered Magnum revolvers, a Dreyse M1907 carbine, two M1914 Artillery Lugers, a Mauser Red-9 C96 pistol, a Winchester M1866 carbine, a LC Smith Specialty Grade sxs shotgun, a “Baby Nambu” pistol, a WW2 Winchester M97 trench gun, a Webley & Scott Self-Loading MK1 pistol, and a Gewehr 43 rifle. Marked, "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO.HARTFORD.CT.U.S.A. / PAT'DAPR.20,1897.SEPT.9,1902.DEC.19,1905.FEB.14.1911.AUG.19,1913" on left side of frame. Marked, "COLT / SUPER .38 / AUTOMATIC" with rampant colt on right side of slide. Marked with serial number, "5**" on right side of frame. 5 inch barrel. Included two tone magazine marked to base plate, "COLT / SUPER / 38 AUTO." Checkering on trigger. Curio and Relic FFL eligible. Condition: Good condition with 60%+ of original finish remaining. Most finish loss to slide and front strap of grip. Initials, "A.N." electric pencil engraved to right side of slide. Fine scratched and handling marks throughout and some pitting to muzzle. Barrel marked on underside "42" Possible replacement earlier unmarked bayonet and heat sheet with single bead: staggered 6 by 29 hole heat sheet with 3 rows of two rivets securing. 18 groove forearm and pistol grip stock with marked "G.H.D./(crossed cannons)" on left side and replacement butt plate. 39 1/8" overall. 13" length of pull.
